I.                   General introduction

Thanks for your choosing product of Yantai Construction Machinery Factory. For your better understanding of QTZ160 hydraulic auto-lift tower crane, please read this manual carefully.

  QTZ160 tower crane was designed by China Construction Scientific Research Institute Construction Mechanization Sub-Institute and developed by our company. It is a multiple-function hydraulic auto-lift tower machine characteristic of upper-circumgyrating, horizontal arm and variable range with small cabin. The lifting moment is 1600KN.m, and the maximum lifting power is 10t. When independently installed, the maximum lifting height can reach 59.5m, and with attachments the max. lifting height can reach 201m. The maximum range of it is 60m.

 The standard section of this crane and Botan H3/36B can replace each other in application, which gives users more flexibility. He lifting magnification can auto change, needless of manual assistance. Lifting rope vertical limiting structure is applied, so the verticality at idling is reduced and the passing performance of the crane is effectively improved. The lifting arm uses double pullrod stabilizing structure in which the lifting plane of the lifting arm only bears oneway stress and at the same time eliminates stress peak, which has greatly improved the fatigue safety of the arm. The length of the arm can be changed freely so as to satisfy diversified demands in construction. Lifting, range adjusting and circumgyrating all make use of frequency conversion stepless speed-adjusting, so the machine can work stably, the positioning is speedy and convenient, with high efficiency and low repair cost. Electric control system makes use of contactless computer control, with high reliability and more functions, which also can prevent the driver from wrong operation.

     The crane can be widely used in the construction of higher hotels, residential buildings, higher industrial buildings, large-span workshops, high chimneys and silos.

   The minimum tonnage of the truck crane used for the installation of this crane is 32t.
