Starch ether is an ionic starch ether produced by a series of chemical and physical reactions under alkaline conditions with natural polymer material-starch as raw material. HPS is a non-toxic and odorless white powder, soluble in cold water, with good water solubility, forming a transparent and translucent viscous liquid. It has the functions of thickening, bonding, dispersion, emulsification, suspension, adsorption, surface activity, and moisture retention.

Application:

In construction materials, it mainly resists sagging, improves workability, extends the open time and thickens of cement. Subbject to the differences between  internal and external wall putty, bonding and polishing mortar, polystyrene particles and vitrified beads, our company has developed models to meet different requirements , as follows

 

Model101 starch ether is mainly used in ordinary commercial mixed mortar and gypsum building materials, with an additional amount of 0.05-0.1%, it can improve the workability.

 

Model 301 is mainly used in cement, lime-calcium-based internal and external wall putty powder and bonding, plastering and thermal insulation mortar products. An additive amount of 0.02-0.05% can significantly improve the workability, extend the opening time, and improve the mortar's resistance to sliding . It can improve the  mortar workability .

Model 201,601 is mainly used in polyphenylene granular mortar and vitrified microbead mortar. It has the ability to thicken quickly. An additive amount of 0.05-0.10% can significantly improve the sag resistance of the mortar and meet the construction requirements for thickening .

Model 501 is used together with methyl cellulose, it will increase the thickness, improve the internal structure, and have better crack resistance, sag resistance and improved workability.

Model 701is mainly used in ordinary neutral putty powder for interior walls. When it is used in combination with carboxymethyl cellulose and pre-gelatinized starch at an additive amount of 0.1%, it can significantly improve the workability of the product and improve the quality of the product.
