岩棉保温板是以玄武岩及其它天然矿石等为主要原料，岩棉保温板经高温熔融成纤，加入适量粘结剂，固化加工而制成的。岩棉保温板产品适用于工业设备、建筑、船舶的绝热、隔音等。
2002年引进高科技全自动矿棉平板生产线一条，年产量12500m3，岩棉保温板广泛应用于船舶、冶金、电力、建筑等行业。本产品施工及按装便利、节能效果显著，具有很高的性能价格比。
船用和憎水岩棉保温板在生产时加入了憎水添加剂，具有良好的防潮性能。船用岩棉保温板用于船舶的保温隔热和防火隔断；憎水岩棉板用于车辆、移动设备、冷库工程、空调管道以及在潮湿环境中的保温防火以及对防潮有一定要求的应用场合。
建筑用岩棉板具有优良的防火、保温和吸音性能。它主要用于建筑墙体、屋顶的保温隔音；建筑隔墙、防火墙、防火门和电梯井的防火和降噪。
